Curiousity in Abundance

Caesse has spent the first six decades of his life among his own clan, with only the occasional story of lands beyond his mountainous homeland to satisfy his interests. Though he took great pride in fulfilling his role and duties of keeping the borders of his clan safe, his curious nature at last proved too insistent to ignore any longer. Leaving behind the world of frigid survival he'd come to know and cherish, he sets out to find what the greater world has to offer...

Story so far...

Common for many males in his clan, Caesse did his part to live out among the wilds surrounding the main encampment of his people. Surviving on his own against the elements and any threats that strayed too near, he was content and satisfied with his place up in the frigid mountains. Making the occasional journey to visit among his kinsmen when the season called for him to do so, he was generally considered a well respected member of the clan though he lacked the traits which saw him rising to the status of the more, coveted males. Despite this, his humbleness and affable spirit saw him a welcome arrival when visiting the female dominated pack. Those daughters and few sons he's sired being considered among the cleverest, if not the strongest. Though by tradition Caesse himself has never met them, he found himself thinking more and more about what future awaited them as he'd begun to notice that in recent years the world around them was shifting. While their secluded pack was far removed from the calamities and wars which plagued the greater nations, there was a discernible altering of the world around them none the less.It wasn't until Caesse saw the skies above turned ablaze in every direction that he knew for a certainty that something truly was amiss. When next he visited his kin, he made his plans known that he wished to venture out and find answers to the questions they all sought. With only his curiosity to guide him, he set out to accomplish precisely that. After a period of wandering across Eorzea, exploring the cities and villages he encounters along the way, he found himself gravitating towards the colder regions of Coerthas and eventually along the road leading to Ishgard. Here, through chance or through fate, he finds himself guided towards the doors of a company willing to hire him and aid in his greater understanding. Quickly finding that this new pack was just as much trouble, as they were helpful.
